Happy International Women’s Day 2023!

This year, the theme is #EmbraceEquity, and it’s a call to action to create a more equal and inclusive world for all women. As we celebrate the progress that has been made towards gender equality, it’s important to recognize that there is still much work to be done.

To gain insight into what we can do to make women more equal, we reached out the women of World Knits and asked them this question: “What can we do in general to make women more equal?” We’ve compiled some of their responses in this video:

Let us remember that creating a more equal world for women requires effort from all of us. By challenging gender stereotypes, supporting other women, advocating for policies that promote equality, addressing intersectionality, and educating ourselves and others, we can work towards a world where all women are valued, respected, and empowered.
